Segment one

Course Information

Student must be at least 14 and 8 months old to take the class. Segment One consists of a combination of classroom and behind the wheel driving sessions.  A Parent/guardian must attend class session one (Course Orientation),  show the students birth certificate when checking in during the orientation, and sign a parent/student contract. 


Students who are 18 years of age or older must obtain a "T.I.P." temporary instruction permit issued by the Michigan Secretary of State prior to participating in the driving portion of the program. (this only applies to students who are 18 and older). 

 

Classroom Details:

Segment One is a 4 week long training course including 12 classroom sessions. Class days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 7pm-9pm Note* Class days are subject to change (this is rare). Students must attend all classroom sessions to pass the course. 


Classroom Location:

Classroom sessions are held inside the Belleville Area Chamber of Commerce Building located at: 248 Main St Belleville MI 48111


Behind the wheel training:

In addition to the classroom training Segment One includes 6 behind the wheel training sessions. These are scheduled by the driving school after the course starts. Students may be required to attend driving sessions on weekends. This is something to consider when selecting a class. The driving sessions consist of a combination of driving and observation time.


Tuition:

Total Segment one cost is $330.00 students can start the class with as little as $100,00  any remaining balance is due no later than 14 days after the class starts.  Payments are taken during the class orientation.  


Accepted methods of payment:

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Cash, and Money Orders. Please note that we do not accept personal checks. Please pre-register to attend, these classes tend to sell out quickly. Seating is limited, so you must pre register to attend! 


Upon successful completion: 

The student driver will be eligible to obtain a Michigan Level One License (a teen learners permit from the Secretary of State) The level one allows the new driver to drive a vehicle with a licensed driver 21 years old or older in the car with them. 


PRE-REGISTERING TO ATTEND IS REQUIRED AND DOES NOT REQUIRE A CREDIT CARD.
